PROTOTYPE? ROSEWOOD PHONIC SNAREI just got this from Germany. I never saw a pic before it arrived. It looks original though because there are no extra holes where the old strainer would have been. And the lugs? Protec style, but are heavy. Maybe they are in the nickel plated stage and were never chrome plated. I am not sure. |

My red maple Hilite Exclusive set includes 4x14 picc. , 7x14, and you will see a 6x14 DW cast bronze w/ gold plated hrdware, that actually matches pretty good until I find a sig. cast bronze.(good luck) It still sounds incredible, ( I hate to say, I'm no fan of DW). 9x10, 10x12, 11x13, 15x14 floor, 17x16 floor 17x 22 bd. 4 booms,1 straight, hihat and snare stand.I would like to thank Rusty Martin at Sonor for all the help, advice and info he's the man. All the hrdw is too heavy to gig w/ so I have a similar size Force 2000 set w/ 3000 hrdw I found at guitar center for $350 bucks. Ernest J. Larouche |
